Best Doctors

Conroe Independent School District strives to provide our employees with the best possible health benefits to ensure your well being and peace of mind. As part of this goal, we want to help you and your dependents make informed decisions about your healthcare.

We know that when you or a family member is faced with a serious medical decision or serious condition it can be difficult and confusing. You need the right answers to some tough questions: "Is there a different treatment?" ... "Is surgery really my best option?" ... "Is my doctor right?" ... "How can I be absolutely sure?"

With this in mind, we are pleased to offer the benefits of Best Doctors. This program is available to all benefits eligible employees. Additionally, dependents enrolled in a CISD Aetna medical plan also have access to the Best Doctors program.

What is the Best Doctors program?
A simple phone call to Best Doctors can move you closer to certainty. A Best Doctors Member Advocate (nurse) will listen to your concerns and ask about your medical situation. They will gather all of your medical information, analyze your medical condition from every angle, and identify the leading expert doctor(s) best qualified to evaluate your case. Best Doctors will send you and your treating physician the expert's report with the answers you need.

Together you, your loved ones, and your doctor can confidently decide the next steps that are right for you. This is an entirely voluntary benefit. It's also free and confidential - and you can access it without ever leaving home.

In addition, if you need to see a specialist near your home, Best Doctors can also match you with an in-network expert doctor in your area.
